Hong Kong based film production company, Artwalker Ltd, shot part of their new feature film in Israel at the end of April. The film is directed by Australian – Chinese director Scud Cheng whose first feature film, City Without Baseball, hit the Asian cinemas in 2007.
Permanent Residence is a passionate exploration of the mysteries of human life and its most pressing questions about love, death and life after death. Its two main characters share a loving, yet complicated relationship, where in the end each one of them sets out to deal with the question of life after death in their own, unique way.
“After a life that changes so much, it would be a blessing to be able to remain this way forever – permanent eternal…” (Script quote, Dead Sea scene)
