Haifa
Jako,
Kelat Sloniki 12
Tel: 04-866-8813
In downtown Haifa, there is an authentic fish restaurant
that serves fresh fish every day. Jako is hard to
find, but the effort is worthwhile. The salads are
great and you can be sure that everything is fresh.
30$
Libel – Coffee Place
9 Arlozorov St.
This long-standing café is run by second generation
bakers. The simple and modest café is owned
by the baker. They sell excellent pastry and coffee,
especially in the morning between 8:00AM – 10:00AM.
One of Israel’s leading newspapers ranked this
café among the best old coffee shops in the
country. It is worth while to stop in only if you
are already in the neighborhood.
Rennes Food and Atmosphere
99 Yeffe Nof St., Haifa
04-837-5602
Located in one of Haifa’s most beautiful streets,
overlooking the port in the upper side of town, Rennes
is a charming place for dinner. They serve meat, pasta,
salads and fish dishes. The prices are fair and we
recommend Rennes for an enjoyable dinner after a long
day of filming.
Yush Sushi Bar
113 Hanasi Street
04-810-0782
In the center of the upper part of town, next to
the Dan Panorama hotel, sits this new, small, and
clean sushi restaurant. We recommend this sushi bar
because the prices are reasonable and it is a fresh
and welcoming place.
