It was
our pleasure to welcome back New Zealand filmmaker
Bryan Bruce from Red Sky TV in Wellington. After having
previously shot in Israel in April, he now returned
to focus on some vital biblical re-enactment scenes
and further interviews, before venturing of to Europe
with Israel based Director of Photography Noam Teich

Morningstar Entertainment investigates
the Copper Scroll |
Morningstar
Entertainment, a production company from Los Angeles,
sent another crew in July this year to investigate
the mysterious Copper Scroll of the Dead Sea Scrolls
for their highly anticipated new show “Secret
Worlds”. After having previously shot in Israel
and Jordan for the “Knights Templar” and
“Dead Sea Scrolls” episodes, their archaeologist
and host Michael Arbuthnot now concentrated on solving
the riddle of this fascinating inscription.

International Harp Contest
Celebrates its Silver Jubilee |
Biblical
Productions is happy to announce the completion of
a short film celebrating 50 years of the International
Harp Competition in Israel, to be screened at its
opening night on 6th October 2009.
The competition will showcase the talent of 30 young
harpists from 18 countries. Each will compete for
the coveted first prize; a special 50th anniversary
Gold Concert Grand Harp made and presented by Lyon
& Healy, sponsor of the contest over its entire
17 year history, including the donation of the first

been producing wildlife and adventure programmes for
Animal Planet and Discovery Channel for many years now
set out to trace one of the most remarkable stories

Pope Benedict XVI to the Holy land was a long awaited
event, which drew attention from media networks worldwide.
PBS, America’s public broadcasting station, sent
presenter Kim Lawton and producer editor Patti Hanley
to cover the Pope’s visit to the Holy Land. Biblical
Productions was the local production service provider
and assisted them in covering the visit as well as a

was a busy month at Biblical Productions. Within hours
of the NBC film crew’s departure, the Morningstar

Bruce Burgess in Israel |

With Jesus for the Discovery Channel in Israel |

Pictures arrived in Israel in August to shoot their
Jesus Project for the Discovery Channel after already
having completed a two week location scout in July.
The filming stretched out over two weeks, with three
different hosts at work and two units filming on different
