December is holiday season in Israel and throughout
the world. If you are in the region during this festive
month here are some recommendations of things to do:
Jerusalem
During every weekend of December there will be special
celebrations in city. On the weekends of the 7th -
9th and the 14th - 16th, there are special discounts
in hotels and restaurants around the city - ask your
hotel if they are part of the deal.
On Thursday nights we recommend you go to a restaurant
at 7:30pm that is part of the happening and from there
take the free shuttle bus that will show you around
town. At 9pm catch the movie screening on the wall
of the Jaffa Gate, and at 9:30pm a concert at the
Tower of David. If you still have energy at 11pm you
can join a tour from the Jaffa Gate to the Jewish
Quarter of the Old City. And finally you can finish
the night in one of Jerusalem’s many pubs.
The event does not have an English website. If you
have questions about times and details feel free to
email us and we will answer your questions –
info@biblicalproductions.com.
Tel Aviv
Max Brenner Chocolate Shop and Restaurant
Max Brenner is the ideal café for chocolate
lovers. While feasting on their chocolate dishes you
will feel the celebration of chocolate, and their
regular dishes are good too. It is a lovely restaurant
with a pleasant ambiance. If you are looking for a
place to drop in and have a cup of hot chocolate this
is a terrific option.

Haifa
Holiday of Holidays Festival
From the 9th of December, Wadi Nissnass in Haifa
will be hosting the 13th annual “Holiday of
Holidays” festival on the weekends. The goal
of the festival is to promote tolerance and peace.
It is a colorful event with a variety of activities
such as an antique fair and several theatrical performances.
The streets and alleyways of the charming neighborhood
are lined with Santa costumes and market vendors,
making it an interesting place to film or photograph.
We recommend you stop in to one of the local hummus
restaurants to enjoy what the local cooks have to
offer.
