“Local Testimony” and World Press Photo Exhibit

For the fifth year in a row the “Local Testimony” photo exhibit will be taking place at Dizengoff Center, a major shopping mall in the center of Tel Aviv, along side the World Press Photo exhibit. The exhibit consists of photographs taken by journalists from the fall of 2006 to the summer of 2007, in the categories of news, culture and art, nature and environment, portraits, daily life and sports. The exhibit is somewhat of a retrospection of the events that have shaped the past year and the photographs chosen tend to have significance on a cultural, social and humanistic level. If you can not make it to the exhibit you can also check out the photos on line at –
