Walgin Prize –
Award for feature film: 160,000 shekels (half for director, half for producer)
Award for Documentary film: 40,000 shekels (for the director)
Award for short film: 20,000 shekels (for the director)

The Wim Van Leer in the Spirit of Freedom Award: 20,000 shekels

The International Student Film Festival

The next festival will take place in June 2008, applications due in by February 2008.
Applications accepted through schools/universities only.
The festival includes directing, screenwriting, and production workshops, meetings with directors from abroad, premiers and more.
The festival awards monetary prizes in different categories:
Fiction, documentary, animation and/or experimental, director, director of photography, Judges’ award and more.

The Rosh Pina Television and Film Festival

The Festival focuses on:

• Discussions and lectures on key topics
• Premier screenings of new Israeli films not yet in theatres, funded by the
  broadcast bodies
• “First Fruits” – All the shows ready for broadcast but not yet on air
• Screening television series – New shows from abroad that have not yet aired
